Ms. Shelly’s class did an experiment to find the effects soda pop (and any other sugary drink) has on our teeth.  They used Cherry Coke, Diet Coke, and water.  They checked on the eggs in the afternoon and found that the cherry coke was already turning the egg dark brown, the egg in diet coke was light brown, and the egg in water was still white.  The following day, the egg in the cherry coke was brown and spotted from the sugar.  They used a toothbrush and toothpaste and were able to clean it so it wasn’t so brown anymore.  They did the same to the egg in the diet coke and they were able to get it almost white again.
